Relevance to HPPUB site:

Review: Here is another ambitious-looking independent film with a small but well-experienced cast and intense personal drama. A boy befriends an aging woman who has recorded in a handwritten diary messages she believes she has received from a lighthouse by Morse Code from her dead son, killed in Vietnam. The son has to deal with the accidental death of his mother, and is quite touched by the diary, Are the “angels” bringing the messages in some sense real?  This gentle drama never really enters the realm of either religiosity or science fiction.
